Stay in Your Lane

You’ll have no trouble staying in your lane thanks to Lane Departure Warning (LDW)1 and the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)2. The former monitors for unintended drifting from the lane ahead, and when this happens, you’ll receive visual and audio cues. Meanwhile, the latter works to keep you driving down the center of your lane, with steering making adjustments as necessary.

Cruise Along the Highway

With both road departure mitigation and adaptive cruise control, the Honda Sensing safety package allows you cruise along the highway easily and stress-free. For example, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)3 senses when your car is getting too close to the side of the road when you’re driving at high speeds, and it takes action to keep you in your lane if you don’t do anything yourself. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)4, on the other hand, maintains a safe distance between you and the car ahead and speeds up and slows down according to traffic patterns.

Avoid Collisions

Thanks to Forward Collision Warning (FCW)5 and a Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™)6, you’ll be able to reduce the impact of crashes, or ideally avoid them altogether. If you’re getting too close to the car ahead of you, audio and visual alerts are deployed so that you’re aware of a potential crash. Should you not take action, the collision mitigation braking system works to bring your car to a stop if the collision become inevitable with automatic brake pressure.
